Inside the client portal: what you get with every job

Most drone work ends with a download link that expires in a week. Every job we fly comes with its own place in our client portal instead: the photos, maps and reports from the flight, kept together, ready to download, measure, share or talk about, for as long as you're a client.

Signing in

There's no password to remember. Enter your email, and we send a six-digit code that's good for ten minutes. We email you when a gallery is ready, so most people go straight from that email to their photos.

Your home page shows the next shoot with its forecast, any invoice that's due, credits you can use, and what's new since your last visit.

The portal home page: the next shoot with its forecast, an invoice due with a pay button, a desktop report credit, and recent galleries
Home: the next shoot, what's due, and your latest galleries.

One gallery for each property

A gallery for a park in Oldsmar, Florida: the cover photo and title, tabs for photos, maps and reports, and conversation, and the photo grid
A gallery, with its photos in the order you set and the cover first.

Each property or site gets its own gallery, with tabs for the photos, the maps and reports, and the conversation. You can set the order of the photos and choose the cover, favorite the ones you like, and select any set to download or share.

The gallery's Maps and reports tab: the stitched map first, then each roof report with its squares, pitch and planes
The Maps & reports tab: the maps from the flight, then each roof report.

Photos, ready for wherever they're going

Edit with AI: one-tap touch-ups, or describe the change in your own words.

Sharing without forwarding files

The share dialog: who the link is for, when it expires, downloads and edit history switches, a watermark choice, and the active links with how often each was opened
Each link has its own expiry, downloads and watermark, and shows how often it's been opened.

Send a view-only link to a seller, owner, lender or your team: the whole gallery, one photo or a chosen set. Each link can expire, can allow downloads or not, and can carry our watermark, your company's logo or none. You can see when a link was opened and switch it off at any time.

Talk to us where the work is

The gallery's conversation: a request about one photo, shown with its thumbnail, and a box to write a message or mark it as a request for a change
The conversation: every question stays with the photo it's about.

Comment on a photo, the whole gallery, or a pin dropped on the map: "can you retake this angle?", "you missed the back fence". Questions and requests come straight to us, stay with the photo or spot they're about, and are marked done when they're handled, so nothing gets lost in an email thread.

Maps you can measure

A stitched map of a park with saved measurements: the tennis courts' area, the pavilion's height, the creek's length, and photo pins
A map with saved, labelled measurements and pins where each photo was taken.

Mapping flights are stitched into one aerial map with an elevation model, placed exactly over the street map. From your desk you can measure:

Photo pins show where each photo was taken, maps from different dates can be swiped side by side to see progress, and you can ask the map a question in plain words, such as "how big is the parking lot?", and get a measured answer to keep or discard. The map and elevation model download as GeoTIFFs for GIS and CAD, or as a plain image.

The same park in 3D, with the measurements on the model.

When a job includes a 3D model, you can walk around it in the browser with nothing to install, see your saved measurements on it, and download the model for Blender or SketchUp and the point cloud for CAD.

Roof and solar reports

A roof report: total roof area, squares, squares with waste and main pitch, above a photo with each roof slope outlined and numbered
A roof report: every slope numbered, with the totals roofers price on.

Outline each slope on the map, or start from a draft we make from the elevation model, and the portal gives you a report: pitch and direction for every slope, true sloped area and squares with suggested waste, ridge, hip, valley, eave and rake lengths, and a trim list to order from. Print it or save it as a PDF.

Every report includes a solar estimate from a company that doesn't sell panels: how many fit, the shade from nearby trees and buildings, what they'd take off the bill at the home's own utility rate, the payback, and whether an installer's quote adds up. On drone jobs we can add an AI review of the roof's condition from the photos, which one of our pilots checks before you see it. No time for a flight? A desktop roof report measures the roof from public lidar instead.

The solar estimate: the utility rate, panel and usage settings, then the panels chosen, system size, yearly output and what it's worth
The solar estimate, at the home's own utility rate, with settings you can change.
The AI roof condition review: overall condition, remaining life, whether to re-roof before solar, and a finding with a close-up of the chimney
An AI condition review from the drone photos, checked by one of our pilots before you see it.

Thermal

A thermal photo: point anywhere to read its temperature. (A sample photo from DJI's Matrice 4T.)

Thermal jobs add photos you can point at to read the temperature, a thermal map of the whole roof you can lay over the colour map, and a moisture survey in the roof report, reviewed by us before you see it. Our thermal roof imaging article explains how it works and when it's the right tool.

Booking and paying in the same place

The booking form in the portal: services with their prices, the steps for property, time and details, and a summary with what's due after the shoot
Booking a shoot from the portal, with what's due after the shoot.

Book your next shoot from the portal, see the forecast for the day, add it to your calendar, or ask to move it. Invoices are listed with their galleries and paid online by card through Stripe; we never see your card number.

For teams

Add your colleagues and they see your galleries too. Each company account has owners, who manage people and the logo; members, who see everything; and limited people, who see only the galleries you give them, to view or also to edit. Ask us and we'll add someone outside your company, like a seller, to a single gallery. If you work with several companies, you switch between them from the sidebar.

Kept for as long as you're a client. Your galleries, maps and reports stay in the portal so you can come back for a photo next year. Ask us and we'll delete them.
